Easily re-deployable
welding solutions
Travel from project to project throughout your manufacturing space
Over the last several years, large commercial welding robots have become a useful feature for many manufacturers. For repetitive, long-run welding projects, these systems have saved manufacturers both time and money. However, these systems are not tailored towards smaller-run or human-assisted welding projects.
With the growth in the collaborative robotics industry over the last several years, more and more small- to medium-sized manufacturers have been searching for an easily redeployable welding solution to be used on short production runs. Today, we have a solution perfectly suited to that task.
Robot27 has partnered with ARC Specialties of Houston, Texas to integrate their SnapWeld system onto Universal Robots’ UR10 collaborative robot. Leveraging the power and reliability of both mig and tig welders and the flexibility and ease of programming of a UR10, Robot27 is able to bring automated welding solutions to your manufacturing space. When mounted to a rolling stand, this compact and easy-to-move welding solution can travel from project to project throughout your manufacturing space without having to restrict yourself to a permanently fixed welding station with bulky components.
Robot27 is happy to partner with ARC Specialties and Universal Robots to integrate SnapWeld into your next welding project.
ARC Specialties Introduces SnapWeld – an Integrated Welding Solution for UR
ARC Specialties’ selection of MIG and TIG welders designed to weld steel and aluminum are completely controlled from the UR10’s touch interface called the teach pendant. From wire speed to ramp time, burnback volts, and more, adjustments are right at your fingertips. You can even monitor and adjust the welder’s basic settings in real-time while the weld is in progress. Setting the welding head’s path takes just minutes on the UR10’s easy-to-use teach pendant. Simply move the welding head to the desired start position, save the position, and move the welding head to the next point along the welding path. With setup this easy, redeploying the robot for a new welding task can take just minutes allowing your business to utilize the robot over and over again for a wide variety of welding tasks.
